Who I am
I'm Sam Baker. Originally from Suffolk, I now live in Midsomer Norton, Somerset and love it.
I have over 20 years experience of working in the corporate world in a variety of HR roles across different sectors including; retail, further education, Tech, FinTech and Real Estate.
Being an independent consultant means I can focus on two of the things I love:
- Business partnering: understanding commercial drivers and business strategy, achieving key business objectives and deliverables, supporting innovation, growth and contributing to an organisation's success.
- Being human: helping people thrive at work, attracting and retaining the best people, recognising people as individuals not just resources and celebrating success.
